NEW: e-learning module

Ayurveda & Respiratory Disorders

This comprehensive e-learning module (in English, taught by Vd. Naveen Gupta) focuses on Prana Vaha Srotas, the Ayurvedic physiological system that regulates breathing, energy and vitality. The course deals with respiratory disorders such as coughs, asthma and allergies and offers Ayurvedic treatment methods based on nutrition, herbs, lifestyle and Panchakarma. The influence of mental and emotional factors on breathing is also extensively discussed.

Setup and content

The module consists of theoretical and practice-oriented lessons, including video lessons (6 hours), literature study, homework and the possibility of a live Master Class with Vd. Naveen Gupta. This Master Class must be booked and paid for separately. See the link at the bottom of this message.

The course will delve deeper into the causes and symptoms of Prana Vaha Srotas Dushti, the role of doshas and dhatus, and the use of Holisan products and remedies. Differentiation between treatments is central: which herbs, formulas and local therapies are suitable for specific respiratory complaints and constitutions?

Holisan products & remedies

You will get a solid overview of all Holisan products and remedies regarding respiratory system support and specific respiratory disorders. This will be interlaced with helpful guidelines regarding differentiation of products: when to chose which remedies (and when not). This makes this track highly useful for your clinical use and application!

Practical application

In addition to theory, the course includes practical assignments such as yoga and pranayama routines and dealing with treatment plans for clients with respiratory diseases. Ayurvedic treatment principles to be discussed are directly linked to modern health challenges.

E-learning via LMS

After registering and paying, you can do this course at home at your own pace (maximum 3 months). Participants watch the video lessons, read and study the reader, and do supporting MC quizzes, in which feedback is preprogrammed. Everything goes through a Learning Management System (LMS): that goes without saying! Only after completing this e-learning program in this LMS format can you participate in the Master Class. Assessment and completion

Participants are tested with quizzes and a final test and are given the opportunity to ask questions in the Master Class. The Master Class must be booked and paid for separately. See below for the link. The course has a study load of 4 ECTS and offers an in-depth and practically applicable insight into the Ayurvedic approach to respiratory health, with a strong focus on differentiation and effective remedies. A certificate based on 4 ECTS will be awarded after completion of both components: the e-learning program and the Master Class.
